Social repercussions and impact
Labour market
Sixty-three percent of the total budget of the project was devoted to personnel costs, which means that a great number of jobs were created by the project. This will evidently have a positive impact on the labour market, one of the great priorities of the scheme of the Development of the Community Space (SDCS). Moreover, a certain number of activities (8% of the budget) are carried out by external professionals (provision of service and administrative management) in the project and therefore take part in the positive impacts in the creation of new jobs.
Equal opportunity
According to SDCS, the regions that participate in the project do not have good integration of women in the job market. Therefore, the partners want to respect gender equality in their teams: one of the priorities of SDCS is to augment the rate of mobilisation of women in labour. Regarding the elevated problem of unemployment among young people in the Medocc region, the project foresees (for each of the network teams) the involvement of a high number of qualified individuals who are less than thirty years old and, moreover, proposes the training of young persons.
